  Oracle at Home: The Results
Almost 70% of you responded that you do not have Oracle installed at home. That was a bit of a shocker to me.

I figured that it would be the other way around; people who read blogs, Oracle blogs specifically, would be more likely to have Oracle installed at home.

So, why not?

Maybe they have access to a database in there company to try things out from home. -> Don't have to maintain there own one.

Very possible. I use my database at work for smaller, un-involved, testing...
 
I think a good question is to ask them how much time do they spend using Oracle a week on their own time and not company time. You don't even have to limit it to Oracle but technology in General.
 
Yes, technology in general is a good question. Obviously my view on the world is a bit myopic...
 
No Oracle XE for Linux 64 bit.
