Oops I've Done it Again
By it, I mean I've sent another rant to my CIO. Here's my first one that I sent to Dratz before starting my own blog.
Fortunately, we've developed a bit of a rapport. I still should not do this type of thing on a holiday when it could be days before I hear back...it just makes my mind wander and wonder if I will have a job come Monday.

Well, then I guess we do agree. It is about design- about the tradeoffs surrounding where you want your logic to reside and how you want to interact with it.
And I got nothing against putting it in the DB, but I hate it when people over-emphasize one over the other.
BTW, lovely blog. I have a friend who's really into Oracle who'll love your tips. You're definitely on my reader and I'll make sure you get on his list too! ;)
